Good ales, old friends, new friends, Yes there`s fireworks; although we`ve calmed them down as the last the time something went "BANG!" too loud in Catterick they shut the A1! Haggis toasties and a nip to see out Old Years Night. Have a good one folks!

This is what we're doing, pretty much.  There'll be no partying or other such nonsense in our house, just a bit of relaxing after a day spent hedging; I'll be lucky if I'm still awake at midnight.

Thought I'd resurrect this one, seeing as there's only a few days left of 2015 and, quite frankly, I can't wait to kick 2015 right in the arse and send it tumbling into the abyss... truly terrible year for me!

For me... the same as last year, see my original post, it's probably the last NYE that I'll spend living here in my flat...

What you lot doing?

Best to start 2016 ..
I don`t need a translation, so I`m sitting here at home, perhaps posting nasty songs  ;)
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

Hogmanay is probably the worst time of year to be Scottish Imo , all that traditional singing and dancing and over drinking.
Firstly 2015 has been a good year for me, managed to quit smoking, one year cigarette free next week. Managed to see nma 3 times ( Newcastle, Edinburgh and Nottingham) Met a few decent people this year as well. Managed to buy a few decent things as well.

Hogmanay 2015/ New year 2016 just planning on spending by myself this year at the moment, alcohol free either a DVD or iplayer / all4 / youtube . Never liked new year n probably never will

Oh, Pol I just laughed my arse off because earlier when you talked about the hogmanay waiting around the corner in the Christmas thread I wondered what's that. I thought it must be a hangover or something!  ;D

Stay at home with mucho drinks. HATE pubs on N.Y.E. full of drunken idiots who you have never met before suddenly wishing you happy new year. Can't see the point in celebrating the passing of time. Time is all we have. Its hard for me to come to terms with the fact this new millennium is going to be 16 years old. !!

Communication breakdowns at the board. ;)

Don't mean to be rude mates. Sometimes a way we talk here where I am is a way straight but it's not meant to be insulting. (I know my language sounds very gibberish nonsense to most of you) :)

But on the other hand, it's also about a sense of humour we all have on our own way. I admit my sense of it is ironic.

Good posts you all have. Interesting to read what your plans are.
