It's uncommon that big events get sold out before most people get a chance at getting those same tickets... there was a programme on UK TV a couple of years that showed how the majority of tickets go straight to those resale websites, at a massive markup... be interested how much of that money goes back to the bands in question...
Example. When The Who toured their masterpiece 'Quadrophenia' (don't ask me, Justin will agree with you

) a couple of years back, it was playing in huge arenas, I was in the old I/net at 9am (as advertised) and by 9.08am, the whole ******* tour was sold out. Purely by luck I got a couple of good tickets.... but by 10am, there were literally thousands of tickets available via those bastard websites for a great big markup...
It's corrupt as **** and pisses on the true fans (who've been following these bands for years) in favour of moneyed people who just wanna go to the next 'big show' so they can boast about it to their friends..
