Heard about that on the local news this morning, but the earth didn't move for me last night.

That WAS supposed to be a set-up for a dirty joke, right?   ;)

I think it was 1986 I felt an earthquake at Greece when I was a kid. It was 3,15 at reichter. At the moment I was running at a beach so didn't feel it actually until others talked about it.

Red, how often there are them at where you're living? Rare thing to occur? Eeh, joking?

There was one in Winchester down south on Monday or Tuesday as 2.9 and the one last night was more local to me in Cottesmore in Rutland. Probably about 1 hour south of where I live
I didn't feel it but the missus said the earth moved for her but it had nowt to do with me  ;D ;D

There was one about 6 years ago which was much nearer and it woke us up.

Caused some minor damage to buildings

They seem to be getting more regular but fortunately not severe enough to cause any major structural damage or injuries

Rusco, we get quite a few local tremors. The most memorable recent event, a nationwide quake in 2008. Remember it well. My house jolted, things fell off shelf's upstairs, and it even woke the missus.
