No real surprise that bhs shut, it always seemed empty every time I walked past. Really sorry for anyone who lost their job whilst a couple of people dipped their pension funds and lined their pockets. Gonna leave a Woolworths size hole in many high streets

11,000 jobs gone?  Ouch.

I can't say as I ever bought anything from BHS, but the fact that will disappear from our high streets is another big blow to British commerce and UK folks memories.  Like record shops... remember them?  There used to be five in my hometown... now you've got what the big supermarkets deign to offer and that's usually just Adele, pop compilations and anyone who just died...

A couple of thoughts... firstly, it was originally reported as being a LGBT kind of place, now that seems to be amended, in subsequent news reports, as being a 'gay' place'... because them gay folks are OK, everyone loves the gays, right, they're on TV a lot?  Not them dodgy 'trannies', they're just wierdos... 

And that murdering cnuts father saying 'No, it's not about religion, he was just homophobic...'  Yup, well, that's ok...   

Murder is murder, end of.  And if you murder someone, you belong in Hell.

Agreed with all you say M.R. , looking like American will never learn, really hoping this doesn't get dismissed as some kinda anti gay homophobic thing. Everyone of course  has the same rights.
One point lgbt is a umbrella group for whole of the   'gay' community even if some transgender people aren't actually gay. Also straight women go gay clubs where they can feel relaxed without any hassle.
Just innocent people out having a fun night n butchered for no reason . So RIP to everyone of them and my sympathy to all there friends and family.
