Another tragedy. Sad to see the father's complete lack of empathy for the victims. It was all about him, his son and Islam.

I will never understand American gun laws. As far as I can see, the only purpose of an automatic assault rifle is to kill as many people as possible.

My thoughts are with the victims and those close to them.

Murder is murder, end of.  And if you murder someone, you belong in Hell.

Totally. Labels don't help they just reinforce divisions and entrench hatred. Human is human.

No doubt gun laws in America help those so inclined to kill, but our species have been doing that to each other since we came down out of the trees, If it's not guns then it would be knives, sticks or hands. Sad but true.

Anyone else seen these reports about how the murdering c-word was a regular customer at gay bars?

MP Jo Cox - shocked and disgust that this can happen to a mother and wife who was dedicating her life to help others. RIP and sympathy to your family and friends.

Truly sad.  And the alleged 'fact' that the killer shouted 'Britain First'..?

I'm dreading the newspapers tomorrow when this awful event might get twisted into something that can be used in this already shameful EU debate...  >:(

Yea, just heard about it. Very sad to hear that kind of news. Where is this world going now and what kind of ugliness they stand for?

It probably will get used by the various factions just like the Orlando attack did. However, if this does turn out to be another hate crime, like Orlando, then it's not good enough to mourn this as just another murder that could have happened to anyone.

Right now it's just sad.

Awful awful news story. Very sad for her family and she appears to have been well respected. I think we need for the investigation to end. Put Britain first/ Britain first has totally different interpretations. By all accounts the man had a few issues, which may be the reason. A genuine tragedy and if it is another failing by the mental health profession, then its about time something changed.

Seems like the 'Britain First' thing didn't happen or was misheard in the heat of a terrible situation... it was just a nutter who somehow had a gun.

Yup, that too... I think the whole 'murder' thing was kind of the point here?   :(

A murder by shooting is one thing.... A murder by stabbing is one thing... both?

think it a reflection of the intense savagery of the attack. No mistake, full on intention to take life.
