Is is a crime to believe in something different?

I meant what I said at the time that I said it

Very sad about Chris Cornell, what a talent. Listen to the Temple of the Dog album and hear the absolute apex rock singer. Rest in peace Chris, you'll be greatly missed.
And I wish and I wish we could start over again Yes I wish and I wish we could win back Her love once again

Yea, I agree totally with all you've said. I think this is a thing concerning the generation that probably most of us feel belonging to. Now how too early it is! Soundgarden is a band you could easily had expect being around for many decades.  :(

Truly saddened and shocked by this one.  Loved Soundgarden (my favourite of the big 'grunge' bands, dare I say it, even more so than Nirvana?)  and really liked Audioslave and Temple.  WHAT A VOICE!  One of the few people who could sing a Zeppelin track without embarrassing himself.

One of those 'out of the blue' deaths that you wake up to and think 'nah, this must be a dream'...

Never saw him live despite having several chances to.  Stupid me.  :-\

Damn, it seems official that Mr Cornell hanged himself... just when I thought I couldn't feel any sadder about his passing...  :'(

I hate to hear about anyone taking their own lives.

On a lighter note: RIP - Roger Ailes.

WHAT A VOICE!

Indeed. Really sad news.
I love "Black hole sun" and "Shadow on the sun"...Michael Mann who is a big fan of Cornell used "Shadow on the sun" in one of the most striking scenes of "Collateral":

really sucks, often you can see the pain behind the smile and how someone like Robin williams is dying inside but...

RIP Chris , one of the best rock singers ever and soundgarden were also brilliant band . In terms of depth and quality they were one fckin excellent and definitely my favourite from that era of great American bands. Black Days indeed !

Sad news. I remember seeing Soundgarden together with NMA in Duesseldorf in 1990.

A sad loss.

Seems like there's been another terrorist attack, this time at the Manchester Arena, confirmed fatalities according to Greater Manchester Police... this at an Ariana Grande show, a singer who has mostly kids as her fans...
