RIP those at the Manchester arena . Over 20 dead and over 60 injured, many of them young teenagers and kids.
Innocent people killed and injured who had little understanding of the cause.

At morning we were very saddened to hear these news. Our hearts are with young kids and their families.
Not a very long time ago we were at Manc too and to think that ugly bomb attacks could had been targeted at anyone.

Killing 8 years olds is pure evil and disgusting.  It is hard to believe this has happened and anyone would target a concert that they knew would have a large number of children. Now IS has claimed this attack as they do to most attacks.

Children and young teenagers . . . . beneath despicable. Heart and love goes out to those affected. Hope Hell exists.

So many posts about Manchester, and rightly so... but was also gutted to hear about Sir Roger Moore dying today. Your favourite Bond is like your favourite Doctor Who, it's the one you grew up with. Much as I like the Craig movies, I'll always prefer Roj to Daniel 'Mr Miserable Bollocks' Craig...
So I'll raise a glass (and possibly an eyebrow) to this fine gentleman tonight. May he continue to 'keep the British end up' on the other side...  :'(

Roger Moore, even as a Scotsman he was the best James bond,  his English public school image fitted the character so well and the saint was ahead of its time as well. RIP

 Just another bad year.

Southern rock icon Gregg Allman died at age 69 on Saturday, leaving the music world without one of its central pioneers. The singer-songwriter was integral to the shaping of modern music, so naturally, many musicians are currently mourning his passing.

R.I.P Gregg .You made some amazing music that was a big part of my life growing up in the early 70's. :( 8).

Aw, Peter Sallis, from Last Of The Summer Wine, Wallace and Gromit...

Sad, but I have to say (to my shame) that I genuinely thought he died years ago...  :-\
