Peter Tork ex Monkees,great shame.......Sad day   :'(
That band (whether they played the songs or not) was pretty darn excellent. Weird that a fake band for a TV show was actually as good, or even better, than many of their contemporaries. "Pleasant Valley Sunday" happens to be one of the greatest songs ever in pop music. Says something lyrically  (maybe only Americans can truly get it) and musically it is phenomenal.

RIP Mark Hollis.
Thank you for all the music you wrote/recorded that has moved and enhanced my life throughout, and influenced so many other artists that did the same. I know I will be listening to this music often and attentively, for the rest of my days.

Such A Shame.

Oh gosh. What a bloody shame. Some great songs penned by him and a very underated band  :'(

I just came here to post this awful news and saw that I've been beaten to it.  One of my very favourite bands ever and Mr Hollis had one of my favourite voices ever.   :'(

I always had some hope that TT might reform one day...

Trying to think of my favourite TT song ever, I think it might be this one, 'Tomorrow Started'... feel free to post another opinion...   :)

If you feel like investigating Talk Talk then they're well worth it, yes some poppy stuff that might not appeal to you but tons of lovely tunes.  Recommendations available!  You know how I like to drone on about the bands I love, endlessly...  ;)

Just read that. By all accounts a really decent bloke in real life. And only 49  :'(

Blimey, that ones a shock. 49 is no age to go. My eldest son will be quite upset, he is  a big fan of the prodigy.

Seems like he did, indeed, commit suicide.  Blimey, like Chris Cornell And Chester Bennington, that's something I didn't see coming.  Just goes to show the utter evil that is depression can take someone who would seem to have everything in the world that they could wish for.

As someone who frequented many rock clubs in the 90's it was wonderful to see how The Prodigy went down just as well as the more obvious rock tracks... I saw a comment on other website that said The Prodigy were 'when the moshpit met the glow sticks' and everybody loved it....

So sad to hear it.
