No, it's  how I work - really didn't want to have to keep replying to everyone explaining that's it's not censorship but a request.

I did save the original threads so if I get a bit of time I might try and restore some of the posts as it was interesting. That is, as long as the discussion remains civil in what is a distinctly thorny topic...

My opinion for what its worth, rather than re-posting some of the original threads it may be worth restarting the debate with a less challenging title which should then get well thought out replies. After all, many posted myself included in reaction to the original title. Maybe -

"Your opinions on Anglo- Irish relations"

I had changed the title to somthing more fitting already. I still think the original title was fine. However others didn't see it that way.


That's ridiculous that people accuse admins of censorship. I think people need it to an extent.  There is another forum that had none and it was not a pleasant forum. It's stupid that adults complain about censorship on an internet forum.

I know i got angry about a few posts but it never went to personal insults. That says a lot about the members of the forum.
