BD3 never seems to get any mention. I love that track. Great rhythm. Really benefits from being played loud.

Yes it's a great track! the music, the lyrics and the cool video they shot for this song, in 2005/2006.

BD3 is one of my favourites from Carnival too (which I think is a great album). Here's that video :)

Beginning at 4:15
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

Still remember the floor because of the drums - goosebumps ( like Leeds Road)
In this video Nelson is the 2. drummer ...
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

I've said before that Carnival is my least favourite NMA album, but to be honest its abit like deciding which is your least favorite curry, I love a prawn korma but just not as much as a chicken Madras! It is an odd album in many ways but still contains my current favorite army track in Fireworks night , and  island, BD3, water, all stunning. It contained the DNA you now hear in Between dog and wolf and now From Hear too.
