Does anyone still wear clogs?...I do...I even wore 'em to my most recent job interview...and I got the job! So I wear them at work now as well. I think they're my lucky charms!

All the best,
Johnny

Some people who go in the pit certainly still wear clogs - as anyone in there with them can confirm with softer footwear on - the next day counting the bruises on their feet. It explains how ruckedout lost his big toenail in Rock City last year.

Ah well. No pain no gain  :-\

I'm quite lucky in that I don't live far from the Clogg factory, so it's not a problem for me to go in and get measured up for mine. Consequently, my clogs are really comfortable. In fact, I'd go as far to say they're the most comfy shoes/boots I have. But I do have a couple of friends who bought second hand pairs and they did struggle with them somewhat. Funnily enough I was over in Holland watching the Stranglers last week, and while I was there I met some Dutch friends of Dutch friends and they had Dutch clogs. They said the same thing about a measured up pair being very comfy, but 'off the shelf' being not so comfy.

Anyway, I've rambled on enough now. Back to work!

All the best,
Johnny

I still wear mine, para boot style.

Commando soles and irons onnthe heels :) :)

I bought steel toe cap clogs for my last job and even got the company to pay for them :) :)

They're just gathering dust now as can't wear them on the railway

Is is a crime to believe in something different?
