It is very obvious the IS stands for Islamic State and it's also obvious that they have caused far too much loss.
What bothers me is what I have been reading in social media and hearing from politicians.
I have noticed flat-out bigotry. I have seen people use the term Muslim and terrorist the same. They are so ignorant that they don't know the difference.

The majority of the victims of ISIS were in fact also Muslim. The Kurds, Iraqi, Syrian, Turkish, Lebanese, Jordanians.
Racist don't seem to even think about that and innocent muslims fall victim to it.

The comments i have read about the Syrian refugees has made my blood boil.
In the U.S. bigot conservative states are refusing refugees. By law they can not but they are anyway.
Some have said they would accept "Christian refugees."  Others say "Why not help our veterans.
(on a side note: conservative politicians have cut funding for their own homeless and vets. Why don't they blame them?).
The very worst was said by that **** Donald Trump. He wants all muslims to register in a  database. Sort of like Hitler wanted in nazi Germany!       He also wants to shut down their place of worship.
I have also heard the extreme view of placing Muslims in America in camps like they did the Japanese in the 2nd world war.  It seems if the right wing has it's way America will be a fascist country.


It needs to stop. Syrian refugees can not return home. It is not safe. Between Assad and IS it is not an option.
Especially now that the west is bombing Syria as well. By logic shouldn't that mean we welcome them even more?
There are more Muslims than people of any religion. A tiny minority are terrorist. Basically if you blame all Muslims for these attacks you are an idiot.

Organised religion is the biggest con out there. Unfortunately, the murderers are indelibly linked to one of these religions. It's the intent of the people who control these murderers to sow distrust and cause disharmony.

I still don't think they will manage it on any large scale. There have been many groups of Muslims who have come out against the Paris attacks, something I haven't seen on this scale before, but I still think the world would be a better place without organised religion.

Religious terrorists. They have existed for a long time, at some point other movements/religions had their momentum, now it happens to be those assholes. They all represent the scum fraction of any society, and globalization as well as divergent/islamophobic societies in the West certainly helped IS to convert even more global assholes to their nonsense. I'm sure KKK would've loved to recruit from overseas in their heyday.

As I said elsewhere, I think the obsessed media coverage with their bloodthirsty fear-mongering tone take a good part in that abhorrent categorization to blame one religion (... and I agree that the world would be a more peaceful place without organized religion). Sad, as I'd hoped we would have learned at least something from the mindlessly disastrous US/UK policies post-9/11 which gave those terrorists exactly what they wanted and fertilized IS. Same shit all over again, war, fear, bombs, marginalization, chaos and breeding ground for even more shit...

i don't think its spreading. in fact i'm not sure it even exists in real society to a point where it influences anyones everyday life unless of course they want it to. we are told it exists but the fascists that hate people for their belief in faerie tales have always been caught out. persecution of some demon has always been a herding tactic. and there has always been a herd.

at the same time, to the reasonable person, the level headed person, any narrow-minded and blinkered set of beliefs are always going to be different, and thats what they prey on. thats the issue.


moving forward this aint going to be an issue anyway. 50 years from now ships will pass smoothly across the northern pole and world power will shift to the far northern hemisphere

religion won't matter. fundamentalists will be marginalised. when people claim power over the nation of islam realise that not controlling oil means you end up back in a sandy dusty desert where allah can listen to you all ******* day long. then we will be rid of another oppressive curse on the development of the world.
