Just to let you all know that I'm ok with just a little bit more missing.
As far as I know, the operation went well but took a few hours longer than it should have. I presume they stopped for tea and Eastenders.
The surgeon said I shouldn't need chemo or radio therapy and will see me again in 8 weeks for a check up and hopefully be able to tell me more about the tumour.
I feel ok. The pain lessens everyday and my wee looks like wee and not rusty water now. I can get up and down the stairs using my walking stick, so I can go sit on a patio chair to watch telly.. It looks like I have a collection of 6 belly buttons now.....wonder if I can get them all pierced? (reminder to ask Gav the piercer).
Thanks for all you kind messages to me and Mark. He is on facebook and twatter and I know some of you are his friends there. His year has been as shit as mine and he hasn't bailed out on me, so he deserves a medal.
