What a cracking set and night!

It was very nice to meet many of you there; Shush and his wife, Dilla, Maggi D, NickyG & others. Very much Thank you to Jez Pike for the CD'S! You're a gentleman. We're sending our warmhearted greetings from here Manc. We're still here! Heading for the Star and Garter club and the UK Subs gig. :-)

PS. Anyone know is the woman ok who fell from the stairs at the Krobar after party?

Rusco, I assume you mean Shush and "his" wife  :-[ It was very nice to finally meet you, your wife and two friends who travelled over with you were good company also  ;)

I also met Dilla for the first time last night, a really nice chap, I hope to meet again in the future  :)

Set was excellent, the band sounded on top form as ever. Maybe just me who thought so, but I thought Justin seemed a little distracted like he had something on his mind. But, it had no effect on his excellent as usual performance.

I am so gutted about not getting to this gig. I was driving back from York on Saturday and was so close to going to Manchester in the hope i could get in somehow. I actually had some of it all planned out, i thought i would hook up with Shush and others before the gig as a surprise, i was even going to sleep in the back of the van if i couldn't get a hotel.

In the end i spoke to my fiancee (who has never actually realised how much NMA mean to me), and she talked me out of it....in fact she said no...how can you argue with that?

Hope you all had a great night, see you in Nottingham.

Clicked on this one whilst skipping past the setlist... I hate spoilers!   ;)

So glad you had a great night.  Would have made it if hotels weren't so damn expensive that night, I only live about 40 miles away...

Oh well, got Nottingham next w/end, almost completely sure I can make it (seeing the doctor next week after 'that recent event' for a check-up) and a two-set NMA gig... well, that's just bloody priceless.

Rusco... another time, sir, would have liked to have met you (also, did you make those Manc places that were mentioned?).  Matt... see you next week, I'm sure Nottingham will make up for missing Manchester... your fiancée coming along?  Shush... let me know about when you and Ange are showing up.

How were the support acts, guys?

Until next weekend...

Glad you all had a great night, wish I could have went as well, would have made sense as Manchester is nearer than Nottingham for me and I pass through it on the train on route. Could only afford the one trip and cost of hotels swung it, plus I get to meet most of you lot again in Nottingham.

I'm crying out to the weather gods of fate that my travel plans go ok , seems like Carlisle got it bad n my train goes through there also

See you all on Saturday hopefully

Oh sorry mate, fixed it now  :). There are no different words for male/female in Finnish so I misuse them at times.

Yea, I also saw that kind of mysterious smile on face that Justin had after the last song, like if he wanted to say something yet or play another song. A top night.

Thanks to Anna for the pics!

Ray, yea we did go to the Afflecks store and record shops. That's a very interesting place and street in general.

I missed the support acts. Wanted to see TV Smith, but he was the first band starting. I think he should had been placed before the NMA.
