Whoa, what a set list. La Push and Autumn on the list, geez.

I'd be pleased to see some vids from this gig too.  :)

Yeah. I and others thought that was it. Everyone stopped on the stairs and turned back. I had been about 15 back from the front so had just reached the stairs!
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

Die Trying? Not a song title I'm familiar with. Would anyone care to elaborate?

New and very good song.  Will be included on the next album if the hints that were dropped were anything to go by.

Very much of the ilk of songs like HIGHER WALL, ANOTHER IMPERIAL DAY and REFUGEE.
I think the song is pretty clear in its references to the problems at Calais but can fit any of the situations happening across Europe. JS has referenced boats full of migrants at the bottom of the Mediterrean before.

It's s great 'call to arms' song.

As ever JS is leading us to the subjects that matter the most.

When they look back at us we will be disgraced by our actions towards fellow human beings !

This is where we go to - to the blue of the ocean
On the 30 westbound to the diamond water
Lost out in the white waves - salt purification
Bright eyes and breathless - this is how Love feels

I didn't think it was just about Calais.   While Calais has many refugees, nowhere near that as in Bodrum or Istanbul or Izmir. Two million known refugees in Turkey. Probably even more. They will die to cross the sea into Greece.  They buy plastic boats not fit for the journey and over fill them with people. Calais is a serious situation but it's small compared to the scale of this. I have witnessed such people and it's horrible. Sadly it's no longer shocking to see this.

Calais are the refugees that have traveled across Europe in hopes of UK. Turkey and Greece or people fleeing for their lives and many don't care where they go.
Where I'm from is not my home, and neither's where i'm bound.

Thanks for the list, Adrian, I'm afraid I missed the encores due to my back problems playing up (damn, I'm a wreck of a man these days  :-\ ) so went for a sitdown downstairs...
