Twitter... anyone here bother with it?

After a bad day and a few drinks afterwards, I joined Twitter today...   

Don't get me wrong, as The Pretenders once said, I don't expect to make it a long-term thing, I just felt a bit curious... and, yes, a bit drunk... 

I'll probably knock it on the head sometime soon, but in the meantime... anyone here doing the whole Twitter thing?

I have one and use it sometimes.  I use it mostly to follow bands and artists and human rights organizations.
I prefer much FB but don't mind Twitter at all.   Sometimes one can just not get their message across being limited to 100 characters.   It means sacrificing punctuation at times.

Can I just say, as the person who started this thread, I was so excited and intrigued by Twitter when I joined back in February that... I subsequently and completely forgot that I'd joined.  Literally, I was going through old NMA threads and only THEN remembered I was on Twitter....

I think that says it all.
