Space was banned (not suspended) for repeatedly posting threads that were deliberately devisive and designed to cause an argument. After several months of having to deal with all the shit that was caused with every thread he posted, and after conversing with him off board many many times in an attempt to get him to tone the "humour" down, he then posted his final post that was just an argument waiting to happen, and as far as I was concerned it was a deliberate **** you not only to me, but to everyone else on the board who had all repeatedly asked him to stop posting such posts. He was banned immediately afterwards.
Interestingly he sent me an email a couple of months ago asking to be reinstated to the board, which I related to the board. I didn't see much enthusiasm from the members here and, frankly, after having spent my time talking to him over and over again because of his posts and the problems they caused, I have exactly no interest on having him back. I gave him not just a second chance but a sixth, a seventh, a tenth chance and he just took the piss. I am a patient man, and mostly forgiving of other people's foibles, but there comes a point when enough is enough. He found that point.
As for him looking at the forum, it is a public forum, which means that everyone and anyone can look at the boards. However, in order to post, you have to be a member.
