Steve Lamacq - T&C Classic Album Of The Day
« on: April 12, 2016, 01:23:27 PM »
On Wednesday 13th April Thunder And Consolation will be BBC 6 Music’s Classic Album of the Day.

This means that each daytime show will play a track from the album - from Shaun Keaveny’s Breakfast Show, to Lauren Laverne, and Radcliffe & Maconie, through to Steve Lamacq (4-7pm) who concludes the musical celebrations with an in-depth interview with Justin.

Previous Classic Albums of the Day have spanned the genres: from De La Soul, to The Undertones, Prodigy and Gary Numan.

The episode webpage for the show is: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b075qbs6

you know i've tried with twitter a few times before and been completely underwhelmed. i made this latest account to say how much i'd enjoyed it when i got home after seeing NMA at Rock City at xmas; then promptly forgot about it until JS's birthday and logged in to say happy birthday to him and Joolz. she is quite a prolific tweeter and i spent a day just chatting with her.
i dare say if -for example- you're following One Direction or someone with millions of followers it's pretty pointless; but it's quite nice for sending quick personal messages to people you wouldnt normally have access to, knowing that what you've written will be read. @officialnma  and @JoolzDenby both definitely read tweets and replies and hand-out likes /reply to them.
