NMA Best Cover Album
« on: May 08, 2016, 07:38:51 PM »
Hi Guys,
let´s set up the best NMA Cover Album ever.
There´s in general only few cover songs in the net. I think we should set up one and then play it all as a support band of a NMA gig.
Who is in`?

I will do vengeance...

yours Thilo

Heck, I used to be in a band, so it's 'Modern Times' for me.  On a kazoo with the spoons clicking on my knees.

I can sing badly, but with much conviction...?

I might not be your first choice  :D

Well. I did learn the first few notes to Harmonica man, the Ennio Morricone/Neph tune. So if you need a support act, Im good for about 5 seconds of song.
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

wasn't there a covers album made back in the days of the Bittersweetembrace (BSE) website? IIRC it was called something like Toasting Cain and it was put together by a guy called Gary Wood.

I'll see if I can dig something up

EDIT I think was a time when the NMA board was regularly hacked so was taken down.

BSE was where a lot of us ended up. I think it too was eventually hacked too often to stay online
