I'm coming from south of France to attend the 4 first dates in Germany, and Hamburg is the only one I don't have a ticket

I've seen plenty of gigs be upgraded to a bigger venue, but only usually when the two venues are owned by the same people... there might be expensive contract issues otherwise.

Perhaps the point is to buy the tickets before they sell out - they were on sale for several months after all.

Fair enough, always worth an ask, you never know!

But, and I'm obviously not in the music business, I would suspect that no venue would want to cancel a sold-out show so their competitors could make a lot of money... I would imagine there would be  financial penalties if there wasn't a 'proper' reason (someone got ill etc...) that might negate the extra tickets sold...

I know I'm speaking from a position of ignorance, but contracts are legally binding...

Perhaps we (and a lot others) were too silly to buy tickets earlier for this special gig (and we have tickets for other tour dates)-our mistake,  now we only ask now, not later for a possibity to book another venue and sell more tickets

AAArrrghhh, this is so tragic! I just managed to get my day off, the day after the concert, because i have to get up for work at 4.30, which makes extatical dancing and partying very hard, and was about to buy a ticket, because i thought better early than too late. and now it is too late!

thanks for the tipp about facebook. though i won't sign up there because of this, i will tell a friend to keep looking.

any other ideas, where to look for a ticket?

i will go to the venue, to see if somebody is selling.

and i will soon buy tickets for cologne...
