Well that was a good night. Great venue and what a great support, Jess Silk was brilliant!

JS on fine form with story telling between songs, some funny banter with the audience non better than JS saying "I'm going to play a happy song now" met with audience reply of "who is it by!". Got a big laugh from all.

No set list sorry, Winter sounded great played solo. Lights Go Out was a  big surprise too. Someone with better memory than me can hopefully update for those not there.

Just wish he did more of these and played for longer!!!

As they say on all the best/worst gameshows, here are the results in no particular order...

1.   Changing of the Light
2.   Before I Get Old
3.   No Greater Love (!)
4.   Snellsmore Wood
5.   LA Push
6.   You Weren’t There (aborted attempt as he couldn’t get his i-phone to play the backing track)
7.   Winter
8.   Lights Go Out
9.   Die Trying
10.   Another Imperial Day
11.   Sun on Water
12.   Stoned, Fired, Full of Grace
13.   Fate
14.   Autumn
15.   Headlights
16.   Ballad of Bodmin Pill
17.   Bad Old World.

There may have been one more, but if Mr Sullivan can't remember his own setlist, surely I can't be expected to either.

In any case, it was a memorable and fabulous evening. I could have gone home after 3 songs and still have said that it was a top night. The version of No Greater Love in particular was just amazing.

As much as I'm looking forward to the forthcoming 'full band' gigs, I'd love to see another JSAF gig... they're just so special, aren't they?

Belated post, top night, the solo JS shows are all the more special for being pretty infrequent
