Hi all

Looking at doing the Cologne gig in December.
Anyone recommend a decent, reasonably priced and convenient hotel?

Cheers

Can`t comment on a Hotel, since I always drive to cologne. Sorry...

It came to my attention that the Berlin Band "Plan-B" could be a support in Cologne. Is that ture? Did I miss something?

Plan*B?!? That would be really cool, I was a big fan of them back then.

We usually stay in the Holiday Inn Express. Prices have been going up slightly in the last years, but at least it is more or less convenient. It is a 15 minute walk to the venue and you can have very good Turkish food on the way. :)

Also, you could say hello to some of the musicians during breakfast the next morning.  ;)

there is one very close to the train station
prices in Kolln are something else tough........
we stayed there 2 times with my wife
will tell you the name as soon as I can and address etc
but it was 100 euro for room without bathromm
that means sucks
was just convenient as it was a few metres away from the train station teyhrefore very practical for us coming and going back to berlin

Hi Simon,
it's K. here (the girl with the dark hairs), I was in the kneipe in Berlin and you gave me such a warm welcome even when you did not know me at all that I would like to pay back your kindness. If you don't have a hotel in Cologne and a back ticket for the train from Cologne to Berlin yet, I can offer you and your wife a place to sleep at my home (sofa only, but bathroom and breakfast included). I live about 2 hours away from Cologne, but could take you to the next train station by car the next day.  :)

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

not "Plan B" , "Abwärts" as support

Perhaps 2000 €, if Mülheim Asozial supports the gig?

If that person is serious about the ticket price I am afraid their health issues are really very serious indeed. WOAH!  ;D
