Interesting to see NMA have removed some popular songs from the encore...?

Why don't we (with the blessing from Viv) pursue an encore wishlist ?

Keep it bumping thru FB too...if someone could obilge?

Justin, won't play it if he doesn't feel it and too right but circa 2010 we got KNIFE, FALLING, BETCHA etc..

if this hits the radar then just maybe we could be treated to a surprise or 6.

If there is enough clamour for a particular song it may just find it's way....and if it doesn't it's a romantic gesture which the man himself lives by hopeless causes....

Be lovely to hear Betcha again... and I doubt this thread would result in a positive, er, result, but if we're talking about this just for funzies, Brother, Eleven Years, Ghost Of Your Father, Too Close To The Sun and (of course) Modern Times would be just wonderful...

Hey, you never know, TP. Maybe, one day, NMA will be talking around a crackling fire (like in one of the BDAW film extras) and they'll suddenly realise 'oh my God!  We have utterly no idea what to play on the forthcoming tour!  These songs are all blurring into one, we're out of inspiration!  TO THE NMA FORUM!' (possibly throwing superhero-type capes behind them as they walk away...)

Oh yes i am liking the idea of an encore of the cause, maybe smalltown england, believe it and far bettet thing to end it all off?.....infact why dont NMA go a step further and do a gig with a set of songs decided on by the fans? Therapy did that afew years back and it was mental!

I seem to remember queens of the stone age doing a fan chosen set at glastonbury a while back too, never went but anice sentiment at such a big gig.

I'd be quite happy for the band to given their most 5 played tunes* a rest for a while (Get Me Out, Green & Frey, No Rest, Wonderful Way to Go, 51st State).

Though Justin seems notoriously against doing requests!

Okay, since you already picked some of my favs (Living in the rose, High, R&R, Flying through the smoke) I will go with:

Last night I thought it would be cool to listen to the old albums. The journey was over when I hit the "No Rest" album. Bummer, is that a good album!! I'd almost forgotten how good it is 'cause I was more into the newer stuff lately, but woah... what a good album.
