Nottingham 23rd, Rock City vids & pics

Um...everything ok? It's a bit silent here. How did it go?

Curious to see any vids and/or pics people took at the concert yesterday?

Top night, band on top form, crowd really up for it. Setlist same as Amsterdam minus no greater love (they were up against a 10pm curfew and ran out of time). Great final aftershow at Spanky's  (thanks Vagabondage!)

It was worth the entry fee alone for the opening set. Sorry Shush at al that I didnt go to the aftershow. Pounding headache meant I wasnt in the best frame. I blame the drummers....or lack of sleep and dehydration probably.

Drums were particularly crisp and loud last nigh, especially when Ceri joined in. If they caused your head to ache you have my sympathies. I am cursed by regular head pain myself.

That said, it must have been worth it. A couple of regular NMA gig goers said to me afterwards it was the best sounding NMA gig they had ever been to.  I cannot disagree, it was absolutely 1st class.

Nice to meet up with a few old friends. As we discussed at the time, it really does not seem like a year since we last met up but such is life -  rather than "stop the train, I want to get off", sometimes I just wish the train of life would slow down a bit !

Thanks to Vaggerz for the after show. Some great tunes got many tired feet on the dance floor.

Great night overall. Many thanks to our hard working band - and enjoy your xmas break.   :)

Id have to agree with every word about the show. It felt fresh and possibly one of the best Ive seen there. Not that their has been a bad one, but something clicked for me last night and I cant put my finger on it. Gutted i missed the after show in all honesty. But que sera. Hopefully somewhere new next year.
Best wishes to You and your family.....and seasonal greetings to all
