Looks like this just got cancelled due to the bad weather.

yeah, my parents arrived on wednesday in spain and today i talked to them. i think they are near benidorm and they said that they had never encountered such a heavy storm and weather. today it was good, the beach was looking devastated though.
i think this is a good decision to cancel the festival, you have to act ahead and even if the weather today and tomorrow isn't that bad, you have to take precautions and a festival has to be organized and worked on days ahead and days after.

Just returned from a week in Benidorm,obviously disappointed it was cancelled.The day of the festival and the following week was great.There was a really bad storm in the night and if that had happened during the gig it could've been tragic.There were a few of us out there,many Irish,Dutch,Germans and Spaniards,wehad a great time all the same.Shaun Ryder from The Happy Mondays was on our flight out,seemed a decent bloke.We also met a few James fans who had travelled,After such fantastic weather at the Belfast gig I didn't expect this one too be cancelled.Ah well,see some of you in Hamburg.
