Justin in Berlin 09/01/2019

Well,  so i guess i will start this and i hope some of you other visitors will add your impressions 
Justin was part of this years peace concert in a little church in the south east of Berlin - these peace concert are organized (among many others) by Tobias Unterberg - one of the guest musicians (playing cello) on previous tours and the current record ... Taking place on the 80th anniversary of Germany attacking Poland and beginning the second World War the concert was an event of memory  and warning ... Beside Justin and Tobias there where 4 other musicians on stage - Anna Nova, born in Poland but living in Berlin, Goetz Steeger (a very political and energetic singer quite similar to Justin it seemed) and 2 syrian musicians playing the tabla and the oud. They all played their own songs accompanied by the other musicians on stage and they all played 2 songs together . This great setting lead to 4 very special NMA renditions - Over the wire, Sun on water, Another imperial day and Devil. Hearing them there in this concert, supported by Oud, Tabla and Cello and much slower than usual not only made a great impression on all the people with NMA wear but also on all the regulars of the church community and the "normal" peace concert visitors ...
It was a great community event with all the guys on stage supporting each other, listening to each other (especially hearing Anne Nova tall and sing on an occasion like this was very moving ...).
Great to see Justin in this setting, just fitting in and enjoying the other and playing with them was great.  "Over the wire" was inspired by visiting the Bundesliga soccer match the evening before, Justin said, witnessing the surprising victory of local heroes Union Berlin against Champions Leage material Borussia Dortmund ...

Thanks for sharing. A much needed bit of sanity on the day that the far right AfD got around 25% of the votes in two states in Germany...

u will not fck believe it I was here and i missed the gig.
It is true that I hd an operation to my wrist 3 days before but when I had checked the dates of the tour (getting pissed off because the band will play on the 12 5 min away from whre I live and I will be abroad with my daughter for her Atumn holidays from school.........................) the date was not there. it must have been added and i did not check for a while already pissed off for missing the gig in berlin and many other things and i was here and i missed it?
i mean this year 2019 for me is do fucked up unbelivable
now looking for someone with a car who will drive from berlin to Dresden on the 29 October.
if you know someone please let me know.
