What a super-fantastic trip that for me was!

I did Dortmund - Hamburg - Berlin, the first time that i went to see 3 gigs in a row, in different cities.
I didn't know what to expect, how i would feel at the different venues, if it would loose some excitement. I did Cologne-Amsterdam last year and there were the anniversary two-day shows, which were fantastic, but 3 ? ;-) But it was a blast!

Dortmund was great, i was so thrilled that they played WipeOut, just love that one and all the new songs were fantastic with Setting Sun becoming a new live-favourit for me. The band has reached a new level of backround vocals and choruses sung all together, they sound beautiful together.
The whole 3 gig plan had to do with meeting malderor and jeff, whom i met at NOTV, and there was an exciting time before oktober and plans did change much over the time and so i hadn't have a ticket for Hamburg until two days before, but anyway it was planned to meet MARKXE there and then go to Hamburg together.
It was so cool and friendly of MARKXE and his wife to take us to their home ( it's always the kindness of strangers..."), serving breakfast and then travel together to Hamburg and he also managed to get a ticket for me, and we had a great time.

So back to Hamburg, i knew Markthalle but had never been to nma there, and i found the gig was better than in Dortmund. The crowd was more into it, the room was fitting the crowd and i could here the new songs a second time and getting to know them more. Brilliant!

After the show i went with malderor to show him the Headcrash, an alternative-metal-discotheque, where we had a couple of more beers and a great time. I must add that malderor had an adventurous travel there, with jetlagged falling to sleep in trains missing the station, missing the train, running and falling and hurting, jumping out of airplanes just to get there in time (everything except one is true, you'll figure it out;-) but that didn't break his will to rock!  8)

In Berlin i found the crowd a little less enthusiastic, maybe the room was too big but again a great gig, with nice surprises (guest musicican). In Berlin i met two friends, both of them not nma fans and one never even heard them (well maybe 51st in those days) and brought them to the show. They both enjoyed it. Then i had to sleep on the wooden floor of my friends place, because that idiot had nothing to sleep on and went home from Berlin on Sunday.

After a 9hour ride, i had to walk home the last 3km to my place, it was about 1 o'clock and the night was warm and lit by a full moon and i walked in a beautiful silence through the woods and was thinking and feeling the tales of the road floating through me.. A wonderful closing for my trip!

It was so good to talk to and get to know some people, familiar faces from all the years and i would have loved to do that more detailed...

So cu next time and you wonderful people, doing the bus tour right now, have great trip and enjoy being on the road!

Sounds like you had a blast.

Hamburg is always special. Just a great crowd. Wish I could have been there!

I did! :D And i would have loved to meet you there Johnz to have a chat about BS and science..;-)
In Hamburg, there was a little Group left still at the Pub before the show, and when we left i began to sing "I am where i am..." the others got in and we all left the pub singing to go to the show. The waiter mildly shaking his head in disbelief but smiling and wished us a great time! Lovely atmosphere!
