Glad you had a great time.  The Live Rooms is a cracker of a venue!  So sad I couldn't make it.

You arent wrong about the venue. I love the smaller gigs. Good mix of folks too and the band were bloody electric!!

Twas very lively and as per a very enjoyable night.  I have purposely not bought the last release so I could hear them live first which is a thing I now do when I watch bands touring new albums.  I need to familiarise myself with the new tracks but on first listen no complaints.  As ever I recorded last nights gig so having a listen now and it sounds excellent.

True story.  Seeing as I couldn't make the Chester gig, I gave my ticket to a young lad who I used to work with... he's only about 20 years old but is obsessed with punk and post-punk music from late 70's / early 80's, seriously, he knows more about bands of that era than I do and goes to many many gigs. Yet, somehow, he has very little knowledge of NMA.

He texted me today to thank me.  And he was utterly blown away by the Chester gig, said it was one of the very best gigs he'd ever seen and he thought NMA were awesome.

Yay!  Another convert!   :D
