Salut Guillaume !
If you don't mind, I will keep a 40 songs list not 42. But I will give you 4 of them !
I wanted to post this for some times so your post comes in handy

. With my family, we made our "ideal 40 years setlist", with 40 songs each of us, me, my wife, and our kids, an 11 years old girl and an 8 year old boy (we were altogether at the Paris gig, both JS solo and NMA). We didn't discuss it, it was made separately to avoid influences from each others. That was really difficult to do, especially when you have like 45 songs and you're trying to figure out the last 5 to remove, a real pain

. I have to add that, even if we're french, the 2 kids are bilingual because their mom is American, so they understand the lyrics and sing along better than me on most songs !

[edit] Also we had to choose from every albums, that was mandatory !

So here are the lists :

There's only 2 songs in common between the 4 of us, "These Words" (but that was one of the kids lullaby that we sang to put them to sleep while they were younger, so it was expected

), and, surprisingly ... R&R !
My wife and me have 21 songs in common, that' a lot !

.
So, when I play the "NMA family" playlist, that combines the 4 of us, it's a 97 songs, 6h56 marathon, with 8 Vengeance & Independent Story, 5 No Rest, 9 Ghost of Cain, 9 T&C, 8 Purity, 9 LoHC, 9 Strange Brotherhood, 5 Eight, 4 Lost Songs (unaffiliated with a B-Side), 6 Carnival, 5 High, 5 Today is a Good Day, 6 Between Dogs & Wolf / Wine & Blood, 5 Winter, 4 From Here (yeah, iTunes makes it so easy to play with the numbers

)
