Booker T & the MGs - Green Onions   (Timeless classic !)

I used to go to a pub called the Pyewipe in Lincoln as a kid in the mid '70s. Mum and Dad let me and our kid choose a few songs on the juke box. I always chose Green Onions. In 2011 we revisited the pub for the first time in 30 odd years....and as I ordered a pint Green Onions came on  :D. After that I kept staring at my ale expecting it to turn into orangeade with 2 straws in it  ;D

Anyway.....back on topic....just been listening to Standards by Lloyd Cole. Saw his acoustic gig on Tuesday and it was bloody amazing. He mentioned his recent appearance on Later with Jools and said "I couldn't understand why I was never invited on...I always assumed he hated me!" so there's hope for our boys yet :)
