Both versions of "Get Ready" are equally mind-blowing, phenomenal.

Always LOVED the fact that the Temp with THE tenderest, sweetest, softest voice, IS the one chosen to sing this incredibly intense, potent and powerful song.  I like how the juxtaposition of the two ends of the spectrum both fuse, meld seamlessly together, work well together, compliment and feed off of one another.  Fcukin' intoxicatingly ACE tune, this!  There's a lot to be said / learned from the incredible writing and delivery in and of  "Get Ready".  And the immediacy of the lyrics, as so exquisitely exemplified and executed within the musical pace of the song, just adds further dimension, intensity, electric charge - provides that extra bite - if you will.  smokin' hot lol, "Get Ready" is most definitely, one of those extremely rare songs you can taste.  Ohhh, and 'such a strong taste', indeed.  Fcukin' bites just right... in ALL the right places.   'Hmmm, yes.' 

Sensational.  Phenomenal.  Electrifying.  Immediate.  Seminal.  Blinding.  Superb.   8)

MAJOR Zeppelin fan here... thanks to being weened on them (well, fantastic classic rock in general), via my wonderful, amazing older brother.  For me, original Bonham era Zeppelin, is right up there next to Moon era Who, in terms of musicianship, skill, musical thrill.  I quite heavily consider Zeppelin, one of THE best bands of all time.  Like Moon era Who, Bonham era Zeppelin was also a MASSIVE, colossal powerhouse unto itself.  The dynamics of both those bands, with regards to each individual member of the band(s) and their technical skill(s), were/are absolutely astonishing, phenomenal... to say the least.  That's really hard to come by, especially these days.  Still, all that said, neither of the two bands are my favourite band ever.  So just goes to show, sometimes, technical abilities aren't quite enough.  :)

I just wish that my favourite band ever, would adopt a bit more of that Zeppelin-esque kinda bite, grit, slickness - that they were so famous for.   8)  I'm still workin' on that mission though.  lol, mainly through prayer, pestering and digit crossing.  If only the individual members of the band I love most, were a little bit more confident in themselves, their own skins, abilities, etc... because all 5 gentlemen sure as hell have the musical chops, charm, passion and charisma!   :)   xOx   Ooo

Yeah, I'm fcukin' things up again.  Sorry, I thought I was grasping this thing right.   :-[   Still, wished the The The song had been followed instead of the Cure tune... feel like I have to go back and delete all those great links / that entire post, now.   :-[
