i also like the version of Notice Me. Absolutely brilliant :)
some of you talk about the crowd i just want to say that I was the person who did the drum and guitar during the break in Ballad of Bodmin Pill....(I'm sorry Justin maybe it annoyed you)...
North Star was beautiful too...i've never heard the acoustic version....

don't know why i wasn't very motivated to go to JS and DW gig but once i was at the gig, i didn't regret to come.

It was a Very good acoustic gig in a small place.

A special thought about the absentees (François and Seb)  ;)

I tried to take several photos (many thanks to Dominique for his authorization), sorry for the quality  :-\

Are you sure ? Stephanie  .... It's a joke  ;D
I didn't have the good material to take Dean correctly  because i was on the right side near Justin

For you, here are 2 beautiful photos  ;)

A nice moving performance by JS & DW. Once again, are we tempted to say, aren't we, folks?? The first 2 songs werent up to the level the rest of the performance took us up to. A question of sound checking, i'd guess.  Notice Me was "the'' moment, as far as i'm concerned.  What was yours, dear NMA fans????
Yes yes yes ! I was so happy to hear that song! What a beautiful memory  :)

... i'd say artistic  ;) especially for the second one ;)
i said that sentence about Dean 'cause i've noticed some photographers only take Justin in photo even if it's a NMA gig. We know Justin is a big part of NMA of course but it won't be the same without the talented musicians he has around him ;) and a Justin solo gig won't be the same without the very talented guitar player Dean White. I really liked how he play when he's with Justin. He create some really good atmosphere for Justin's songs.

This is where we go to - to the blue of the ocean
On the 30 westbound to the diamond water
Lost out in the white waves - salt purification
Bright eyes and breathless - this is how Love feels

It was a great great gig , excellent atmosphere - ambiance decontractree et familiale -
And I was positively surprised by the audience !
Justin a beaucoup parlé en Francais , great  ;)
Nobody said it, but Dean has made some new extended guitar solos in several songs :
Wipeout, aimless desire.... He didn't do that on last year tour, it was fantastic   :D

A few videos will follow as soon as possible

Sorry to not have talked more with some of the French family, next time !

A very powerful yet sometimes very intimate set. Justin looked refreshed and sharp, backed by the subtle waves and harmonies of Dean. This is one of the best acoustic shows out there, it was certainly so in Paris.

I personally think that at the stripped down songs they excel and it still gets better ;) So I prefer this at the moment...

My favourites were/are Wipeout and Vanity
We think we are so clever killing heroes, killing magic

No, I wasn't the one that called Justin for president :) But yes, there was a really good spirit between the crowd and them, mostly after the first half of the show :)
If you're still in Paris, you can go to "le sacré coeur", not for the Church, but because this was the place of a great (but aborted) left wing french revolution, "La Commune". I had a walk with JS there some years ago, and I was amazed as he knew everything about la Commune, even better than myself :)
Again, wikipedia is such a good source for informations :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_Commune

Hi, the hotel I was staying in was a few streets away from le sacre coeur and the information you provided was very interesting, did not know the history of that area. That was a very short lived revolution! :)

A question, around that area I saw many armed police (soldiers?) with sub machine guns doing patrols. Why is this? I once got accosted by a peddler in that area which was uncomfortable but I cannot imagine armed soldiers are there to control that issue?

It was so cold in Paris I think I have returned to the uk with a dose of pnumononia and have been bed bound. Still, was worth it for the amazing gig! :)
