???
No shop here offers vinyl and the next (second hand) shop with some vinyl is 1 hour driving away from where I live
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

Would love to spend the day in a local vinyl shop but sadly we don't have one since our 3 Selectadiscs closed....Arcade Records in Nottingham was legendary too but that went years ago...got my NMA LPs from there......good days. We have a decent second hand shop but it's chaotic in there....piles and piles of records in no particular order....but the owner can find anything within 30 seconds...

Have a good day if you manage to find a record shop and cheers for posting Pompey FC.

Managed to visit a couple of record shops we've got down here, gosport & pompey, happy with what I got, specials, the icarus line, simple minds and battles, I know its limited releases but did think some items were a bit over priced, 14 quid for a seven inch!

Now I'm off to watch us get relegated to div 1

Grimey's in Nashville does a big blowout with bands and food and beer.  I think some people camp out over night to be first in line to get in.  It's a feakin circus.  I go a few days after, because, I really don't care to fight a crowd to say "I got something limited".

I supported my local record shops in Frome and Warminster this weekend, managed to get The Levellers and the Sex Pistols for £5.99 and £7.99 respectively. Slightly annoyed to find out from another shop that all stores participating in Record Store Day put a 50% mark up on everything before selling to the general public and the two shops that I bought from actually went well over the 50% mark. Probably explains why they had so much left over from last years RSD. The only people really celebrating Record Store Day are the greedy shop owners and not the music lovers!
