Maggi D, try

Mogal-e-azam - Nottingham.

Thats round the corner from RC, and not a bad curry house. If we can't get a late curry, maybe go for an early one?

The Nav is a good boozer, with several real ales....It's just a bit of a trek if the weather is foul.

The Nav's a decent pub and the owners are fans of rock/blues so I'm sure would welcome us lot. It's been close to closure many times and is usually a bit quiet on a Saturday as it's slightly off the beaten track (still only 10 mins from RC)...so I'm sure they'll welcome the trade too.

Good luck LCG - pre booking the baby sitters already - can't wait as the Manchester party was excellent, unlike my dancing  ;D

Cheers for organising mate and please keep us posted.

i'd think carefully about doing such a thing... a few years ago a few of us went to sample the curry mile in Rusholme before a Manchester gig - and very nice it was too - but a big curry then a few pints and all you want to do is sit down!

The Curry Mile outing last December was really good. I am a believer in JC's uncanny knack of sniffin' out fine establishments........

That reminds me, I gotta get on n sort Bradford's shindig........ I believe Akbars is the place! =)

Akbar is good, I have also heard good things about Prashad too, despite it being veggie only, not that I have anything against herbivores mind you. We shall defer to your local knowledge Stoney.

This is where we go to - to the blue of the ocean
On the 30 westbound to the diamond water
Lost out in the white waves - salt purification
Bright eyes and breathless - this is how Love feels

Is that the place that's underground?   If so, I reckon that's the place that Dave is alluding to with his ;)   It's open late but bloody awful!

The spectator sport of watching the staff fight with customers provided some small distraction from the quality of the fayre on offer...just had to take care not to slip on the blood on the stairs on the way out!

the arse-end (literally) of the curry world...

Mogal e Azam...food very dodgy i'm afraid!

Desi Downtown (bit of a walk) is a good bet he does late nights for big bookings...I know 'em as well so could broker a deal?

Otherwise, Cumin on Maid Marian way (opp Salutation) would  be my bet...

as Belza and jsyirish will tell ya it totally bollox£d me for the Manchester gig last Xmas, an all you can eat curry buffet less than 90 mins before NMA stage time was not a good mix, made the bouncy floor at the venue seem even harder to navigate
