Wetherspoons on City square is ok, Fighting **** is fantastic of course, but a trek from town.......
The Exchange was piss poor last visit. I was ashamed.........
Loyds Bar used to be ok..........
The Zoo Bar is kinda down market, especially during the day.......

Option number one is probably most likely to be more accomadating to be fair. Worked pretty well in Bilston at the Wetherspoons place I think. More space and cheapish drinks? Result...... ;)

Wetherspoons! Yummie food and everyone says cheap drinks.
As I don't drink (but own donkeys  ;)) I have no idea if it's
true but I am all in favor for Wetherspoons.

The New Beehive is a decent place and only a couple of hundred metres from the venue. Tends to have a good selection of ale on plus ciders for those that prefer the fermented apple.

There's also the City Vaults and another Wetherspoons in what was the Windsor Baths.

Those looking for a bit of nostalgia could take a wander to the Westleigh Hotel.

Whose binkin shout is it?

I verye ges there in decent time a westleigh safari might be good....... It's easy walking distance from city square..........
I've no problem taking a hiking party if that's what folks want to do?

The Sparrow is a nice Continental style Bier Cafe , reasonably close to the gig and The New
Beehive , usually have 3 or 4 real ales on tap.

We're coming over after work so not sure what time we will make it to the pub, but hope to catch people for a bit. Just let us know the majority decision. x

When I was a nipper in the mid 80's, I used to frequent the Boy in the Barrel just opposite the venue, however, back then it used to be a real earthy spit and sawdust sort of place. Last time I drove past it there were no signs of change...

The Beehive is a good option but honestly Bradford central is 5 minutes walk away if that.

Boy n Barrel was a funny pub right enough. Lots of "ahem" unusual folks in there. lol Used to stop off in there on a regular tour about town on Saturday afternoons.
Beehive ued to be a good venue when they put gigs on in the cellar. My old mob Lowlife played our first couple of gigs there......... A LONG time ago........ :o

Is anyone going to make a decision on where the meeting place is. I'm travelling up from the Cardiff area early afternoon and should arrive around 5pm.

Would be great to meet for a few jars beforehand.
