I always believe that if you want something badly you will pay for it.
I have sold lots of Army stuff on EBay and have given away and traded stuff, however when it comes to tickets for a band that are followed by alot of people from all walks of life some with money some without tickets are something I would never sell for more than I paid regardless if the venue is "Sold out" or not.
For the 30th Anniversary dates I drove 45 minutes to sell a ticket for the Berlin gig to a young girl who was desperate to go, I took the face value price and refused any petrol money.
I find it really sad that people take the piss sometimes, there are quite a few real fans out there without tickets for Friday.
Regardless if I have never met someone before if you are a fan then you are Family.
Anyway just my 2 pence worth, roll on Friday and Saturday.
Straight on for the days ahead.

You're right MARKXE. But you see it from the seller point of view.

I only got one ticket for the anniversary shows and was desperate to have the other day, too. I equipped myself with the price i was willing to pay and for me it was 100€. after hours of asking and searching i could talk some people into selling me their tickets for that price, they were not hardcore fans iánd i told them, they could go have a big meal for that money togehther, while i could rock my socks off.
i was glad to have the ticket., the concert was about to begin,  and never thought about that it was a ridiculous high price. for me it was worth it and of course i would have been glad, if i had found a ticket for a lesser price.

And from me the question if anyone travels from near cologne to dortmund..?

I had to wait for my wage to buy the ticket and i'm so glad to have ordered one just before it's now sold out. But i'm almost broke now and searching for a cheap travel possebility.

If i don't find one i will walk!

I would not recommend walking from Cologne to Dortmund as it might take ages. I was once walking from Bradford to Leeds to a Leeds gig (not a NMA gig but one from New York Alcoholic Anxiety Attack) because I was broke and because I short it would not take that long, but it took more than three hours and an additional hour of walking to find the venue.
Anyway, I sent you a personal message which might solve your problem if you haven't been able to make any cheap travel arrangements yet.

I know what you mean, cthulhu, because I once paid more than 40 pounds for a Paris gig when it was nearly sold out and only a few expensive tickets available by a special website when anyone else paid twenty-something euros.
Luckily the English gigs are cheaper than the German ones and only around 20 pounds. As the German venues usually charge more than 30 pounds for the NMA tickets, I wouldn't say that 99 euros for 2 tickets is incredibly expensive.
However, cthulhu, regarding your other question, please check your personal messages as I've just sent you one which might solve your problem.
Anyway, enjoy the gig!

Thank you and you've got a reply. I hope things will work out...

I don't know how far the distance from bradford to leeds is, but from cologne to dortmund i think is 100km and i could walk that lenght but would maybe arrive a little late ;-)

A fantastic gig. New songs are future classics for sure, very earthy and warm. A crap description but hey I'm no music jurno.
New song 4 Stupid Questions seemed to me a cheesy rip off from a band in the early nineties,  it went down well though,  :P
Looking forward to tonights performance and another listen to the new classics.

New song one is called; HORSEMEN!

I loved the 3rd one, where Ceri started playing the bohran.
God that was just so briljant.
Now all they need is banjo player and get Ed Alleyne back in the band. Yie-haw!

What is meant by "Stupid Questions (New Song 4)"?

I loved the 3rd one, where Ceri started playing the bohran.
One of these?

I'm very jealous as I'm never at those gigs where new songs get their first airings! Roll on Northampton.

Justin mentioned the new album is a bit different and then said that this is track two or three and played Stupid Questions, ;D

And regards the Bodhran yes and it was very very good.
