hey just got the cd version today. found it in berlin. did not order from the shop this time (cost of expedition etc). the digipack is simply amazing. Joolz's graphic art unbelivable. it s just a pity not to have the lyrics for the 9 unreleased songs. Is it possible to have them or are there among the lyrics? Still pity not to have them in the booklet am not used to listen to nma and not to read the songs especially if I listen to them for the first time...............still have to listen to them anyway...........will do it when i really have time and calm. will comment later.  love to all. When we were putting it together I asked Justin if he had the lyrics and he did not.  There just wasn't enough time to figure 'em out and meet the deadline so that's why they aren't in there. 

I'd love it if someone could take the time to figure them out and post 'em.

History and Living a Lie are amazing.

Left the package from the NMA shop unopened and stuck it under the Xmas tree, then didn't get round to opening it til Boxing Day as I was busy with the kids.

But it was worth the wait, am sat listening to CD 2 as I write. Wonderful stuff and a nice time of year to bring it out.

SotFalklands on the Xmas dates was incredible right down to the drums at the end. Hoping for more 'old stuff' in May as well as loadsa new stuff too. What a year 2013 promises to be

Brian, is there any difference of artwork between the CD only release, and the vinyl ? I only have the vinyl, and I wonder if the booklet of the CD has more photos or anything else ?

It's a different layout between the 2 versions.  The CD comes in a book form so it feels much different.  The pictures are mostly the same between the two and instead of a separate sleeve for the vinyl with the lyrics, the lyrics in the CD are each printed on their own page. 

Hard to say if you "need" to get both versions but they are different as far as how it's laid out.  It's not like the vinyl version is a "big" version of the CD if that's what you were thinking.

actually there are no lyrics not even for the standard songs meaning all the songs not conisdering the unreleased ones. but pity i mean if the songs are there even the unreleased and someone is singing them........why not including the lyrics? cd was almost 20 euros was worth the effort to include them as it is a fantastic cd digipack

Just picked up the CD version after having the LP version for a while, and have to say both are great packaging.  It is nice not to have to break out the LP to listen to the CDs.  Haven't taken the time to see if there are different pictures between the two versions.

The band was deep in the writing process for the new album when it came time to put this together.  For a musician to stop the creative process of writing new music to go back and find the old lyrics (or to listen and figure out the words on the demos), takes a LOT of time and focus. 

So when he told me how intensely there were in working on the new music, I simply stopped asking for the lyrics.  I think we'd all agree that new music is more important than stopping everything to write down the lyrics to music we've all heard a million times.  It would have been nice to have them included... but so would a new album... and the band is always looking forward rather than back.
