Are you interested in a Magic Bus Tour 2013?

Hello,

I wanted to gauge interest here for another Magic Bus Tour, I know that there aren't any dates published for the forthcoming album tour, but they will come and I didn't want to be in a situation where people are booking up bits and bobs as and when dates appear and missing out because I need to know all the dates in order to put something together.

This is what we did last time: we did 5 UK dates by bus, including hotels, we had stop off's to see Stonehenge, the Rude Man of Cerne Abbas, and some even managed a dip in the sea off the Jurassic coast, oh and we managed to fit in some gigs to see some band as well. There were people on the bus who had travelled from the US, Canada, Germany, Austria, Holland, Sweden, Ireland, and the UK. We had a blast and I would love to be given the chance to do it again.

At this stage I would like to ask people to:-

• hold back on booking things immediately and give me a chance to put something together
• let me know that you would be interested in principle in participating in another Magic Bus Tour

At this stage I don't know if it would be a UK only tour, or whether it would be a US or European tour, like I said, I need to know the full picture, gauge interest, and then I can put something together. If you have any questions, please let me know.

First of all - what a wonderful idea and that alone is most appreciated by many, I am quite sure of that. It not onyl shows you had a great time organising the Oct 2011 "thing" but are also willing to put time and effort in another one. WOW!

I guess it does depend on dates, cities and countries so all info is welcome - although I realise there isn't any yet ... at least not for the fans ;-(

In principle, yes, the last one was a blast. But it all depends on finances and number of dates on the tour, as this is a full UK tour, it might be more difficult to agree to do all the gigs. 5 shows in 5 days last time was just about perfect.

I agree with Marloes.  Great idea and much appreciated.  Since I'm blowing my vacation time on a northern Euro trip, I won't be able to make it to the UK for the tour.  IF they make it to the US, then I'll prob only be able to make one show, as the cities will be quite spread out, except in the north east.  Something you need to keep in mind if planning a bus tour.

I am sure JC will fix us a 'magic flight tour' if they do the US so we
don't need a bus over; we just swoop down over the cities like birds ;-)

School allowing,  you know we're interested. Obviously we are stuck regarding Mon-Thursday school days.

Thank you for the feedback, I can look in to the logistics of maybe having a bus doing the whole tour and people booking different parts of it (did someone order a can of worms), flights are also not out of the question, it's just a matter of dates and being given sufficient notice to put something together.

Keep the questions and suggestions coming as it is important for me to gauge what people are interested in.

The last magic bus was awesome, I would love to do it all over again. Probably a not a US leg for my part, but potentially interested in UK and/or Europe (time and money permitting).

I guess we'll just have to wait for some tour date announcements...
