Finland won gold! They beat Russia yesterday. Absolutely fantastic. Two of the most difficult participants to win at the end and we cleared our way through. 2,5 millions people watched it from TV.

Today there's been a huge party in Helsinki and you know what: it's an OPEN AIR concert and we have -20 Celsius out now! 

Unbelievable, I'm laughing my arse off now! The dj's are wearing full winter clothes and people are dancing that they'd keep warm!

Good luck with college, WW!  I did the same, for a couple of weeks a year or two ago, and found myself amongst kids who were the same age as I was when I first went there... all I could think of was 'damn, they're all so THIN...'

Aw, heck, I was really bummed out about the death of Mr Bowie, truly having a low night... and then my bezzie mate of damn near 30 years saw that and subsequently sorted me out with tickets for a couple of forthcoming gigs that I wasn't sure I could afford to go to...

Started back at work on Tuesday.
Went to hospital today for the 6 week post op check up.
The Dr was pleased that I had recovered well and said the tumour defiantly was cancer and that it had fucked off.
He also showed me an internal email that said the brain scan I went in for at xmas looked good and that tumour had fucked off too.
