Feeling good tonight, seeing as I sort of renegotiated peace between a bunch of friends (actually, a band I used to be in) via The Dreaded Facebook and it looks like we're gonna be finally able to sit around a table in a pub for the first time in nearly a couple of decades... always been friends individually with these fellas but the four of us finally back together and hanging out? Unheard of...

Certainly not me.  I wasn't a very good singer back then and I'm not gonna try and drag my 40-something arse across a stage anytime soon.  The guitar player has a cracking good local band together, the drummer (who was awesome) has done a lot of session work since and makes a shitload of money teaching drumming and the bass player hasn't picked up his bass since about 2000...

Still... we had some ridiculously fun times....

Fugue.  There is a full concert available on Youtube (at the awesome Crewe Limelight venue) but only with the singer they sacked before they got me in... trust me, there is absolutely no trace of my time with the band anywhere on t'internet... I've really looked...

Ordered myself a birthday present from china (gearbest) n it came today, yeah its a bit early but I only ordered about 10 days ago.
Anyway its a tesla nano steampunk version in brass the pictures don't really do her justice , looks totally stunning, lets hope she performs as well.

Well. I just got back from Bratislava. What a fantastic place. Beautiful old City on the Danube. Cheap, very cheerful and really nice people. Had a day trip to Vienna (one hour by train). Thats gonna keep me cheery for a while.
