After an awful month or so, took Cromwell back to England for re-homing. Having steeled myself for leaving him in the caring hands of The Dogs Trust at the last minute family friends stepped in and have taken on the job of "foster-parents"giving much needed time to work out a way forward. Those who have dogs will I'm sure understand how much that means, those who don't will just think wtf ? Don't matter to me and Keren - Carol and Ron make us very fracking happy  :)

Excellent news , having met Cromwell I know he is a lovely dog and will make a great pet for his new owners. Good to know he is in safe hands and agreed that pets soon became part of the family and are nearly important as kids

Shaving my head - always good. Done it myself - normal clippers, small precision clippers n then electric razor. Enjoying my head tattoo as well - maybe I've been watching Vikings too much lol

It's a year to the day I left hospital after I died on the 10 Jan 2016 last year. I'd say I'm pretty bloody happy about that. And I feel pretty good, lost weight, exercise more, eat better, drink less, work the same rate though but you cannot have everything. Hopefully a warning has been heeded!  :)

Glad to hear it, Idopas.  Funny you should post today, I was at the doctors this morning worried about certain heart-related symptoms (as you know, you can't be too careful if there's anything unusual going on chest-wise), turns out it's almost certain to be related to my recent change in meds although they're doing a 24-ECG monitor thing just to be sure.

You joining us for any of the forthcoming UK dates?
