Thanks all. Yeah. I'm wearing a support on one knee but so far no adverse effects and if anything its making my aches and pains, less achey and painy.

Just read on the BBC that a lady is leaving coats on a bridge in Leeds for homeless people.....ok. Im a very old cynic and know from experience, that some homeless people are there from really bad life choices/drug misuse/crime. But not all. And ultimately if that gesture helps someone, then lots of little gestures make a big change.

Lady leaving coats... Reminded me, being an old cynic... few years back, I gave a "lost&found" -coat to some guy who really sounded like coughing his lungs out, sleeping in the street in front of my work place... The coat was really expensive and luxurious type, you know, all fluffy &feathery... the more it made me happy to give him this fancy coat! Same time, I was with crutches because of knee problems, people giving me the weird eye like I'm faking it to have a seat in public transport or something... :(

Went to the supermarket today. Sixpack of beer was in discount for 75 CZK so I bought two. I like beer.

Yep, it's bloody cheap... Actually, the beer in glass bottles would be even cheaper but I'm too lazy to take the bottles back to the shop so I buy cans instead as the recycle bin is next to my flat :) And great beers they do make in this country... Funnily enough, Pilsner Urquell is not one of my favourites and tends to be more expensive also. I like the basic muck - this time the bargain was Staropramen (which is OK basic beer, although as I used to live close to the brewery and got all those yummy fumes from there, I rather drink something else...) but sometimes they sell Kozel (which definitely one of my favourites) with this price :D Cheers! :)

About a week ago I did some shopping in NMA shop. Main reason was the Carnival redux as I finally had money to order it. But, somehow, magically, I happened to be very, very drunk when I opened the online shop... Afterward I found out that I had paid 95 pounds from my bank account and, trust me, I cannot remember half of the stuff I ordered! Instead of checking the e-mail for order details I decided to just wait for the package - I mean, how many times you have a chance to truly surprise yourself with an unexpected gift?  ;D

Sounds great! I hope you don't find out that you bought Carnival redux 10 times..;-)

I do have some faith in my drunken-self though... And how you'd otherwise get some -totally necessary- stuff you never knew you needed? Like my friend who ordered stuff to her kitchen, including a platypus -shaped butter knife and a chopping board with a picture and text ''Chopin bored''  :(
