South West

I've never heard it played live - and i'm not sure if it ever has been played live, which is strange as its quite a straight ahead tune with no studio trickery

I have been listening to NMA since early nineties but I have only been to 3 gigs. My 1st was in 2011 so there are loads of songs I would like to here live that most people on here have probably heard. My 3 choices are These words, Brave New World II and Family.
We always burned brightest when no one was watching.

Used to live it when gigs closed with 125mph, would like to hear that again.

Really like Sunset as well, not sure if it has ever been played live?

Vanity is a great and underplayed song.
There's only one thing left for me to do. I'm gonna ding a ding ding my ding a lang ling long

Hello folks - I'm new here 8) some great songs chosen in this thread - Stoned Fired, Big Blue, Eleven Years, BNW 2, Courage, The Price, My Country and Nothing Touches - I'd go for some of these but I really like
Betcha and
Waiting
and
No Greater Love
Perversely I prefer the recent Army stuff to the older stuff but I'm sure there's no point in creating another account just to add Bad Old World and Orange Tree Roads and Mambo Queen
x

Family Life (I've never heard it live but it could be fairly common for all I know)
Nothing Touches
Ghost of your father
No one cares anymore where you've been
So you find a quiet place to shed that old skin
You won't need it again

No shame in preferring the new stuff.  I think I've said before that, much as I like the first couple of albums, I'm a bit tired of them after listening to them a gazillion times.  High and TIAGD, on the other hand, still sound fresh and exciting and I expect BDAW to follow on...

That said, I found an original 7" single of Great Expectations a few years back at a record fayre, paid only a quid for it... I'd love to hear that tune again...
