I believe the aftershow is at Grand Central, same place as last time, and just round the corner from the Ritz and Oxford Road station....  last I heard there was a problem with getting it before midnight because its a Saturday but it was such a good venue/atmosphere last time that it was decided to go with it anyway.

I am sure Lawrence will update this if anything here is wrong but I think he is on holiday or has only just back as of now.  Anyway, main thing is he puts on great aftershows and whatever happens I am sure this will be one of the best !  New folks all welcome !

I'm hoping to be at the Ritz on the 16th, but I'm not sure yet... Londoner but actually have something I can't get out of on the 23rd... MY WORST NIGHTMARE. So I might have to get the Megabus 'cause I can't afford the train... UGH

If you can afford a train to Peterborough, I have space in my car for the trip to Manchester. I'm only coming back as far is Bilston the next day though, but the offer's open.

Loved last year's at the Grand Central. Went to the gig on my own, staying at some crummy hotel which I didn't fancy the walk back to given the area it was in. So...went to the aftershow for a few more beers and had a belting time. The music was awesome (early Nineties alternative classics, interspersed with NMA), everyone was mega friendly, no hint of any trouble, and to top it all I had a 15 minute chat with Nelson. Roll on the autumn tour!  :D :D

LOVE Grand Central, I go there often... The Thirsty Scholar and The Salisbury are also worth a look, both literally a stones throw from GC!

Thank you, what a kind offer! However, I think I've convinced my fiance not to go to the London gig (because I can't, and therefore it'd be unfair for him to go, and all that female logic bollocks)  and to get the coach up to Manchester with me so we are most likely doing that :)

Hello,
I'm new here, it's my first post.
I'm from Estonia, have seen Army only 3 times - in Tallinn (1993), in Stoke On Trent and Helsinki (not sure about the years - 2006 and 2007 maybe). London gig will be my 4th - or maybe 5th - if I manage to come to Brighton as well.

Hey Indrek thanks for giving me a chance to welcome you! Good to have you here x
As for 'only' seeing NMA three times did you say?  Well - you only really have to see 'em once - the experience will never leave your soul - it's a good thing.  And all other times is just gluttony - me - I'm a glutton and I want to see 'em every day - but work, finances and a certain pragmatism for my own sepulchre of bone means i'll only see 'em once each tour and each one is very special, hope you enjoy London; and maybe Brighton.

As has been said to me recently - climb on board there's a comfy chair with your name on it x

Welcome brother.
