I-pod shuffle
« on: November 08, 2013, 05:19:52 AM »
This usually brings up some interesting results.

Here are the rules:

Put your I-pod (or whatever other gizmo) on shuffle and write down the first 10 songs that come up.

No cheating!

Mine could have been a whole lot worse:

Under the gun - The Sisters of Mercy
I'll work for your love - Bruce Springsteen
El Dorado - Manu Chao
Walk - Blind Melon
Friendly society - The Phoenix Foundation
Fill me with apples - The Sleepy Jackson
Fame - David Bowie
Melts my heart - Marty Willson-Piper
New Gold Dream - Simple Minds
Snelsmore Wood - New Model Army

6210 songs on my ipod. Here is my 1st ten on shuffle:-

2 + 2 = 5 (TheLukewarm) - Radiohead
Killer Queen - Queen
Parachutes - Coldplay
Elizabeth My Dear - The Stone Roses
Sail Away - David Gray
Ripcord - Radiohead
Cars Song - Elastica
Alibi - 30 Seconds to Mars

Wasting My Time - The White Stripes

Just had a count of Justin and NMA albums and EP's on my ipod and have 38 and still  end up with two Radiohead  songs in the 1st 10 songs.
We always burned brightest when no one was watching.

+1 for the thread idea

Keeps me from scrolling the Aberdeen pix on Facebook wishing I was there...though it also exposes some guilty pleasures, perhaps. And somehow, no NMA.

1. Monsters -- Sons & Daughters
2. Collapsing New People -- Fad Gadget
3. Mexico City -- Jolie Holland
4. In the Arms of Sleep -- Smashing Pumpkins
5. Hollow Man -- REM
6. The Hazards of Love 2 (Wager All) -- the Decemberists
7. Andy Warhol -- David Bowie
8. If Silence Means That Much to You -- Emma Pollock (obviously came up on random since the lads are in Scotland!)
9. Mind Terrorist -- Public Enemy
10. Rent Strike -- Groove Collective w/Bernie Worrell
