I'll never understand why people go trawling for internet spoilers about a show they're really into...

People who like to go into their workplace and say 'hey, have you heard about what's going to happen in... (whatever film or show)' because it makes them look all ahead of the curve and cool or some such shit...

I've worked with people like that and I recommend a hard backwards blow from your elbow right into the base of their nose... they won't do it again...

I don't discuss telly with anyone anymore. maybe here and one other place. in person, never. I can't watch something that takes 14 weeks to see 14 episodes. I avoid the noise and then watch the whole lot in one go.

We talking about FIREFLY?  OK, if so... the concept about FF is that the Asian people became a dominant force before the Alliance took over, therefore even the most basic person has a grasp of an Asian language...  hence expressions like 'BUN tyen-shung duh ee-DWAY-RO'...

It's a rich, varied and funny universe...
