ok, on my reputation i insist that everyone watches intermission

colm meaney, colin farrell......irish copper versus a chancer. and look out for the new king of the north from GOT in it too

Heno, watched Intermission last night, yes, very very good film.

Two questions, have you tried Brown sauce in you're Tea, and why do the Irish call a moustache a "Ronnie" ?

brown sauce in tea in a delicacy. and of course, everyone has tried it. sort like a spicy bovril

and a ronnie is from a bloke years ago called ronnie coleman who had a distinctive moustache

but irish peope have all sorts of nicknames and slang words for stuff that is a whole dictionary
you think you're alive motherfucker?
you're just the walking fucking dead.

Just finished watching SCARFACE, the Al Pacino one... certainly Mr Pacino's best performance and I love the Giorgio Moroder soundtrack...

Just been rooting through my box of old forgotten DVDs and I found NEAR DARK... one of the best horror movies ever!

If NMA ever made a horror movie, this would be the one... here's the trailer...

Good Vampire film that. Vamps just trying to get along in the modern world. Film played heavily on the old burn in the Sun aspect of being a Vamp. Did occur to me, if your a Vampire, why live somewhere so bloody Sunny  ::)

Shush, did you ever watch the brilliant UK show BEING HUMAN?  Might be right up your street if the whole 'monsters trying to get along in the real world' thing interests you... one of my fave shows ever.

Just finished watching LOST HIGHWAY, a great David Lynch film that I haven't watched in ages.  Dammit, that's some pretty fucked up shit, right there...

Life in solitary - bbc2
Frightening and eye opening documentary about prison living on the solitary confinement unit of Maine state prison

What to dedicate this to the guards and the prisoners

And to make things a bit lighter... WOULD I LIE TO YOU, BBC1...

Don't normally like these panel shows, but this is always so funny, mainly thanks to the different class banter of Mack and Mitchell...

SIN CITY - A DAME TO KILL FOR...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iFdPcx0W2w

Loved the original and quite liked the sequel... but its quite like a remix of a song you love... it's ok but a bit un-necessary.... worth a watch, all the same.

Edge of Tomorrow- clever idea and Tom Cruise is good in it
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen
