Jigsaw  ( Saw 8 ) A decent enough saw movie.  They deliberately toned down the gore etc for this one (although not that much ) only a brief cameo from Tobin Bell this time.  Nice twist at the end n the traps were decent.

In all honesty Pol, I dont really watch TV. I have no idea how an android TV box would work, where to look for one, or how to set it up. In the same way people I know rave about Fire Sticks, I aint got a acooby!!!!

Watched Dunkirk on the plane home. Enjoyable but a bit disjointed I thought.

Shameless US Season 8 Episode 8 ..Frank slowly back in his usual business and sober Frank might be disappear in the next episodes who knows? My favorite us tv show of all times.Real and reasonable characters.I still miss Malkovich bros and Jody with Sheila sometimes.

Glad to see it's still great, I'm a couple of episodes behind, will catch up asap.

Watched a film called 'The Florida Project' today, a small indie film about desperately poor people in, yes, Florida that might be an Oscar frontrunner.  Not everyone's cup of tea, but I really liked it.  The little kid who plays the main part is just superb, I think she's only about five year old.  Here's the trailer...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwQ-NH1rRT4

I love indie films will take a look.But Master R I must confess that I'm too stuck on Shameless and making my second turn on whole episodes again.Everyone says 'you should watch also some other things' ok I'm sure there are great movies,series but this time it fits good on my personal situation.I wanna be the guy wearing a New Model Army shirt and sitting in the Alibi Room whole day,drinking beer,smoking weed and chatting with Frank.Oh Kev,give me another shot and do you have some The Clash or NMA on your playlist man?

I'm now caught up with the US version of Shameless.  Oh, so good!

Nice to see Franks slipping back to 'the dark side'... 

I watched the season 1 episode 1 of Black Mirror and found it disturbing and disgusting.Jumped into season 4 and first 3 ones were ok but it's not my thing really.So Im never going back to the bad old world but I'm going back to dark side with Frank and the Gallagher way.

Watched Dunkirk on the plane home. Enjoyable but a bit disjointed I thought.

Ha!  I thought that when I saw it at the cinema... something I missed was that the film was shown in three separate timelines, not terribly well explained at the start.  If memory serves, the stuff with Tom Hardy in the Spitfire took place over one hour, the stuff with the boats took place over one day and the stuff on the beach took place over one week.  But it was all edited together for maximum effect, hence the way it sometimes went from night time to daylight from scene to scene... I'm not alone in being confused by that!   

Still think it's my favourite film of 2017, though.

No mate I latched on to that straight away. I dont think it helped, in the way it does with say Tarantino. Not much character development. But still a good film

Not for everyone this but watching the Curse of oak island.  A ducumentary about a small island in the north Atlantic where 6 people have died looking for treasure.  Surprisenly addictive n worth checking out if your looking for something different

Forgot to mention, watched the first episode of 'Britannia' earlier, that new SKY show that's going after the 'Game Of Thrones' audience.  It's... just ******* horrible, laughable in fact. Some great actors trying to scrape some dignity after taking the cash.  I felt embarrassed for them.  Call it 'Carry On Druids' and you'l get some idea.  Here's the trailer (which makes it look alright, but trust me, it isn't...)
