Just finished the US version of Shameless, season eight.  I really can't think of another show that is eight years in and still keeps the quality so high, just excellent (although the 'Gay Jesus' subplot is a bit far-fetched).  Roll on season nine!

Season eight included a little bit disappointments for me but generally it was ok.Agree with you on gay jesus.Im looking forward to season nine.Sad to see Svetlana go only.

Watched Hard Sun recently - really enjoyed it but a totally naff cop out ending I thought.

Have watched first 2 Brittania episodes and I know you thought it was rubbish MR but watchable rubbish perhaps? Have to take issue with some of the grand scenery backdrops: most unlike Kent

Deffo catch up with Shameless US.  Still so funny and often still so 'wrong' (but so funny)... no spoilers here, but there was a moment a few episodes back involving 'toes' that genuinely was one of the most shocking / funny moments of the whole series... 

Hard Sun seems to be from the maker of 'Luther'... well. I'll have to check that one out, Luther was daft as fook, but such an enjoyable watch!

Just getting back ti 'The Wire'.Didn't like the first few episodes of series 2, but now onto season three and it's much better...

Still watching oak island spoiler alert they still haven't found that much  (it's my chill out show ) . No more Vikings until July wtf . Not many descent films about, watched 3 billboards n enjoyed it very different from the run of the mill shit . Still watching dare devil n blacklist

The Damned - Don't you wish we were dead - A ducumentary fly on the wall,  warts and all insight into 40 years of one of the most underrated bands around.  Whilst the pistols and the clash became household names it was the Damned who had the first punk single and who were the best musicians of the punk era . A must watch  !!!!!

I'd give it another go.  It's super-campy, more of a comedy than an action film, I loved it.  You gotta admit that Korg, the big rock guy, was a brilliantly funny character... 'piss off, ghost!'

Accident man - a British gangster/  hitman film with a bit of a twist.  Yes very violent n not exactly original but a fckin good movie all same . Best film of the year so far.
