As regards Laurel and Hardy,have'nt seen the film yet.They were the greatest comedy act ever (imho) .ground breaking humour....can watch their films over and over again and never get bored of them..A truly one off..

Its a weekly luxury for me!!!  Currently watching Stan and Ollie. Both play good parts, but it aint grabbing me and I love Laurel and Hardy

Finally saw the much maligned VICTORY.

Now I know why it is much maligned.

But to be honest, it was everything I expected it to be: absurd, silly, bad acting, head-shakingly ridiculous. Uhh, we are going to finish playing a soccer game rather than escape from the Nazis???

Just got around to watching 'Fahrenheit 11/9', Michael Moore's most recent one.  A bit unfocused and random throughout but it wasn't two hours of Trump bashing as I was expecting, there's plenty of Democrat bashing as well.  I don't claim to be an expert on US politics any more than I would expect a US person to be fully conversant on UK politics but it was a bit of an eye-opener on certain subjects.  Worth a punt, even if you don't agree with all of it at the end... trailer below.

Just gave 'The Dirt' a go on Netflix, a biopic of the Motley Crue autobiography which is a great read about a band I don't like much.  I didn't even know there was a film being made... 

Pretty watchable, every bit as cheesy as Bohemian Rhapsody (but, unlike BR, with ALL the depraved rock 'n' roll stuff thrown in) and, like the book, it doesn't shy away from the fact that these guys were four of the biggest chancer dickheads who ever made it big in music.  Nice performances from a mostly unknown cast (the only guy I knew was Iwan Rheon, the guy who played Ramsay Bolton in Game Of Thrones, playing Mick Mars).  I think you'll already know if you want to watch this one or not, but here's the trailer...
